22 extraordinary stories, from 22 Palestinian filmmakers, living through the unimaginable. Please join for this special film screening in Carinish Hall on Friday 24th October, at 7pm. Book your film tickets via the event link, or pay in cash on the door. Accompanying the film screening, the short film ‘The Flowers Stand Silently, Witnessing‘ will be shown prior to ‘From Ground Zero‘. Western Isles for Palestine will lead a short discussion after the films. Donations towards Medical Aid for Palestine will be welcomed.

“Svalbard Archipelago- the Outer Hebrides of Norway” with Michael Leather, 7:30pm. Svalbard is a large group of islands in the Arctic Ocean, half way between mainland Norway and the North Pole. Michael will take us on a journey through the islands, sharing details about the culture, geography and wildlife he encountered on his expedition there in May 2025. All welcome.
