This year’s Fèis Tir an Eorna, will be take place Monday 29th June 10am – Friday 3rd July 5pm.

Vinyasa Dynamic Yoga

Vinyasa Dynamic Yoga, 7 – 8pm. A sequence of flowing movement to develop strength, fitness, flexibility, resilience and vitality. Suitable if returning to fitness, used to physical exercise or practising yoga. Drop-in class: £14. Block of 2/3 bookings: £12 per class. Block of 6 bookings: £10 per class

Own a Pony Session

  • Uist Community Riding School, Benbecula

Uist Community Riding School’s one hour own a pony session will be available, subject to numbers. They need a minimum of 4 attendees to run these sessions. Cost per person is £40 for the hour, with a lower age limit of 5. The session includes spending time with the ponies, mucking out, brushing and putting saddles on, before heading outside for a ride on the ponies.

Beach Pony Rides

Uist Community Riding School are offering kids the opportunity to see what bigger beach rides are like! Meet down at the beach for a 20 minute pony walk on the sand. Maximum of 4 riders at a time, so come alone and make friends, or come as a small group! Lower age limit of 2! Cost is £25 per person.

Sgoil Shamhraidh / Summer School 2026

Join Ceòlas for their Sgoil Shamhraidh, annual summer school celebrating Gaelic language, music, song and dance, Sunday 5th – Friday 10th July! Learn from world-class Gaelic, Scottish and Cape Breton tutors and musicians! Choose 2 classes – one main choice taken twice a day and a second choice class taken once a day. In addition to classes, all participants take part in a short, informal Gaelic for All session each day and can attend workshops and events in the afternoons for free.

Spinning in Uist

Full Day Own a Pony Session

  • Uist Community Riding School, Benbecula
Uist Community Riding School are looking to hold a couple of Full Day Own a Pony sessions. This is suitable for kids age 7 upwards. They do need at least 4 to run this event. Kids will spend time throughout the day learning new skills and working towards earning some rosettes and certificates. These range from handling horses, and mucking out to putting rugs and saddles on and washing tails. Cost for this is £120 per person. Price includes a short ride out on the ponies too!
