Meeting every Monday during winter, the knitters set up in the backroom of Lochmaddy hotel. Expect tea, chit chat and lots of dicussion on knitting pattern and the latest projects.

Come along and enjoy crafting and good company, 10 am – 1 pm, every Wednesday. Join with your current craft project. Knit, crochet, sewing, quilting, nålbinding, embroidery and more! Whatever your craft, you are welcome for a sociable morning of craft and chat over a coffee!

Grimsay Health Walks, Fortnightly Wednesday, 11 am – 12 pm.

Join on Wednesdays 11am-2:30pm, for soup, filled rolls, baking, tea & coffee. By donation. All are welcome!

If you have pre-school child(ren) please join with your wee ones to play with others, learn Gaelic songs, and a chance for parents to get together and enjoy a chat and some refreshments!

Come and join at Loch Druidibeg Local Reserve, South Uist Thursday 23rd May from 7-9pm and watch th White-tailed Eagles. They have two chicks in their nest currently. There will be the telescope and trailer set up again this year to watch the action from a distance and see how the chicks get on. This is great opportunity to learn more about White-tailed Eagles from our local RSPB staff.

A gentle, non competitive way to get some exercise and have a bit of fun at the same time.

3 touch rule (trap, control, pass etc), no above chest height and no tackling from behind/ side.

Thursdays 7 – 9 pm

All with an interest are welcome to attend, whether you have played before or not. £5 adults, children under 15 £3.

The Uist Selkies meet at different locations and times throughout the year… yes even in the depths of winter.

Sundays are a tradition though and the group will meet up, usually changing location week to week.

You might have heard of the park run craze across the UK. In Uist Park run takes place on Sunday at 12:30. Starting from the bus stop at Lionacliet, the route takes in the beach and machair- beautiful on a good day and a challenge on a not so good day.
